Jacob and Abby Easter morning before church and Baptism!!!
I am sorry it has been a year since my last posting. Too much has happened in a year to recap but I can share where I am headed. I am waiting to hear from Athens Tech where I have applied to go back to school to earn my Associate Degree in Nursing and become a RN. It is going to be a long road but I know God will see me through. My plan...is to work in a hospital on weekend nights so that I may remain at home with my children and continue home schooling them during the week. I hope that this will all work out because I will be provide for my family without being absent from their lives to much. While I am returning to school I plan on home schooling when I am not at school and I have found a distance learning curriculum, Abeka Academy, where the children will have an instructor on the computer. I will be able to sit with them and study without having to be the main instructor. I look forward to being able to teach them myself when this chapter is finished but until then this will have to do. Please pray that I get into Athens Tech, I get into the nursing program and that I will be able to get a job and keep my children at home with me.
Jacob and Abby were both baptized on April 4, 2010 on Easter Sunday. I was so proud of them and thankful to all the people who have and who will continue to help me Shepard them on their journey. They know the truth, speak the truth, now they have to learn and practice living the truth...the hard part.
