As you can see I was playing catch up today. I posted photos from the first of January all the way up to our field trips on Tuesday. On Monday we celebrated ground hog day at Bear Hollow! It was fun and it was a beautiful day for the kids to play outside! On Tuesday a few of the families from our co-op traveled to Atlanta to see the King Tut exhibit at the civic center and then to The High to see the terracotta soldiers and the Louvre Atlanta! It has been a busy but wonderful week! In history we are studying Ancient Egypt and King Tut so history was really brought to life for us this week!
Abby lost her second tooth today. Jacob turned 7 last month and Abby will be 6 soon. The kids are growing up too fast. I now understand what my grandmother, JJ, meant when she would hold me and wish I could have stayed 5 years old forever. Oh how true that is. I just savor the moments, even the ones that drive me crazy.
