A walk through time

Ashley had recently asked me to send some photos and I apologize for not sending any in a while. Anyway, I stumbled across some older pics of the kids and thought I'd share them. It is amazing to see how fast they are growing. It seems if you blink for just one second your babies are gone. Oh how I will miss them someday. Enjoy.

Work in progress

This is step 2 of 4 in the process. I am excited about the progress. It takes 24 hrs. between each step.

Welcome To my blog!

The purpose of the blog is to share photos and information to keep my family in the know. As well as share with you all the ways loving Jesus has made a difference in our lives. This will also be a fun way for me to share what Jacob and Abby are doing through out the year.

Today I finally wall papered the back splash in the kitchen. It has taken me 6 months to gain the courage to do it. I have never put up wall paper before. I plan on painting it tomorrow and then putting on the sealer so it will be easy to wipe off.

Our home school curriculum finally arrived and I have had a chance to sort through it and start planning our year. The curriculum is 36 weeks and is up to me how we spread it out! We are using sonlight and it is a literature based program. We are going to read a lot of great books this year. Check out their website to get a fill of what we will be doing, we are doing core 1, http://www.sonlight.com/. We will be studying world history, science, language arts, hand writing, phonics and site words, Spanish, spelling and of course the Bible. No our home school curriculum doesn't focus on memorization, but the skill of learning and retaining the information they read and are read to. Slow and steady is out motto.
